Today I would like to tell you my story of a road trip between Chartres and Jersey. An adventure that continued with a visit to the island and all it has to offer before heading back. I traveled this route behind the wheel of my MG TF and took advantage of the AirBnB accommodation for even more authenticity.

After leaving Chartres, my route took me to Saint-Malo, where I boarded a ferry to Jersey at the end of the day. The excitement of beginning this journey was palpable as the ferry set sail, giving me a taste of the adventure that awaited me.

On the second day I set foot on Jersey soil and checked into a lovely AirBnB accommodation in St Helier. The city greeted me with its lively shopping streets, quaint cafes and the majestic castle. A visit to Elizabeth Castle and a walk along the coast were moments full of charm and history.

On the third day I explored Jersey's beaches, including St Brelade's Bay and St Ouen's Bay, where the fine sand stretched as far as the eye could see and offered spectacular views. I was impressed by the natural beauty of these places and enjoyed the sun and sea in these enchanting surroundings.

The fourth day took me to discover the Mont Orgueil castle and the Neolithic site of La Hougue Bie, witnesses to the rich history of the island. Visiting Gorey and its medieval castle added a touch of picturesque to an already unforgettable day.

On the fifth day, I was able to learn more about the wildlife and conservation programs run by the park on a trip to Durrell Wildlife Park, providing an enriching experience in the middle of nature.

The sixth day was dedicated to visiting the Jersey War Tunnels, silent witnesses to the island's colorful history during the Second World War. These underground tunnels have now been converted into a moving museum tracing the history of Jersey during this dark time.

On day seven, I took an extra day to explore other attractions such as Les Mielles Nature Reserve, La Mare Wine Estate Distillery and Plemont Beach, which put the finishing touches to my unforgettable stay.

On the eighth day I returned to Saint-Malo by ferry, followed by a trip to Bayeux to see the famous tapestry and the magnificent cathedral. The night in Bayeux was one of calm and allowed me to relive the highlights of my trip.

On the ninth day I finally made my way back to Chartres, taking with me the precious memories of this wonderful road trip to Jersey and Normandy.

The road trip is a unique experience that allows you to discover new horizons, leave your comfort zone and live unforgettable adventures.
So if you're looking for your next travel destination, why not opt for a road trip to Jersey? Between breathtaking landscapes, varied activities and cultural richness, this island has everything to seduce you.
Don't hesitate any longer, head to Jersey and experience an adventure that you will remember.
