On this 12-day trip, you'll explore some of the region's most famous castles and gain insight into their grandeur, beauty and diversity. From Paris to the Loire Valley, passing famous historical sites such as the Palace of Versailles and the Palace of Fontainebleau, this adventure promises a complete immersion in French history, architecture and culture. Be amazed by the splendor of the Loire castles and live an unforgettable experience in the heart of this emblematic region of France. And for this road trip you can choose to travel by bike, motorcycle, car or motorhome, depending on the distance.

Day 1 : Palace of Versailles
Use the day to visit the famous Palace of Versailles, west of Paris.

Day 2 : Chambord Castle
Continue north to visit the majestic Chambord Castle near Blois.

Day 3 : Château de Blois and Château de Cheverny
Continue southwest to visit the Château de Blois, then head towards the Château de Cheverny.

Day 4 : Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire and Château d’Amboise
Head to Chaumont-sur-Loire to visit the Chaumont-sur-Loire Castle and its magnificent gardens. Next we go to the Château d'Amboise.


Day 5 : Château de Chenonceau and Château d’Azay-le-Rideau
Visit the Château de Chenonceau and then the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau further north.

Day 6 : Departure from Langeais to the Château de Villandry
Start with a visit to the Château de Langeais and then head to the Château de Villandry, famous for its gardens.

Day 7 : Château d’Ussé and Château de Chinon
Visit the Château d'Ussé, often associated with the story of Sleeping Beauty, then visit the Château de Chinon, which offers stunning views of the Vienne Valley.

Day 8 : Château de Saumur and Château de Montsoreau
Explore the Château de Saumur in the heart of the eponymous town, then continue to the Château de Montsoreau overlooking the Loire.

Day 9 : Sully-sur-Loire Castle
End your trip with a visit to the Château de Sully-sur-Loire on the banks of the Loire.

Day 10 : Château de La Bussière and Château de Fontainebleau
As you leave Sully-sur-Loire, stop at the Château de La Bussière in the Sologne region. Then we continue to the Château de Fontainebleau, which is about an hour's drive from Paris.

Day 11 : Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle
Continue your journey to Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a magnificent castle located approximately 55 km southeast of Paris.

Day 12 : Return to Paris
End your trip by returning to Paris. Take the opportunity to see more of the city's sights or relax before your departure.
